Squadron Newsletters 306th Bomb Group--Thurleigh, England
Here are a few squadron newsletters for a some light reading. The two 423rd Sqaudron newsletters were published while the Group was still training in Wendover in 1942. Note that the "copilot" for the newsletter was Michael Roskovich, the "Mad Russian", who was the first man to complete 25 combat missions with the 8th AAF. The 367th Squadron newsletters, named the Pigeon Poop, were from late in the war and included a column called the Bitch Box. Have a fun read.
